How do you start your day ? Do you start it with a healthy breakfast or sacrifice it for daily morning madness? I always start it with a healthy breakfast .It is recommended to have your breakfast in the first 1/2 an hour you wake up .But due to madness that prevails due to early morning school hours I grab a fruit or a biscuit on the go while waking up the kids .Later after every one has left on their mission I am done with my dose of breakfast. This schedule gets interrupted if it is mid week holiday.
Holidays are meant to be slept-so obviously you wake up late. Then the mighty bread comes to rescue.Eggs are a must for our breakfast. We rely on boiled egg whites for the daily dose of proteins Just top the bread with your choice of omelet-sunny side up,cooked to crispy or simple masala omelet Indian style, as it suits your palette.
I end up with the three options accordingly to the kids preference. So your carbs and proteins are done so next comes the vitamins .The best source of vitamins are fruits, to meet this demand serve your choice of fruits available.I have served olives ,grapes, mashed avocado. There should be a symphony of colours and flavours while you serve the breakfast-lunch-dinnner."We eat with our eyes first " so the breakfast should be colourful as well as healthy. And for the love of tea-green tea or black tea with honey is the best option .
I don't think there is any recipe for this breakfast ,but still i am providing the list of ingredients used.
